What Bitcoin adoption momentum hopes to achieve in 2025
While Bitcoin (Bitcoin-dollar) around $96,000 in the first few days of 2025 – down from $107,000 in the final weeks of 2024 – BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (Ebit) saw outflows of $333 million on Thursday.
“Cryptocurrencies tend to move in these kind of momentum cycles. And so we have to be patient during quiet times, and we have to be excited. So for most investors, you have to really think long-term,” said CoinDesk Indicators Managing Director Andy Beer. United States, pointing to the September and November Federal Reserve meetings and the US elections as events that pushed Bitcoin higher in “bunches.”

“The adoption momentum, when you think about the future, has only just begun. The change in dialogue between this time last year and today has been huge. So you can’t really look at bitcoin and think of it as something that’s here.” “The valuation cycle, like 500-year-old assets, is still quite new,” Baer tells Yahoo Finance.
“Bitcoin’s adoption momentum will do two things: it will continue to support the price in the medium to long term, and over time it will also, we believe, help smooth out volatility.”
