SEC to host a round of encryption list on March 21

The US Securities and Stock Exchange Committee (SEC) has announced a new initiative to clarify the encrypted currency regulations through the series “Spring Sprint Work Crypto Claration”.

According to advertisementThe first session, entitled “How we got here and how we come out – determining the security situation”, will be held on March 21 at the SEC headquarters in Washington, DC,

The event will run from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and will be broadcast live on SEC.gov. A registration will be provided at a later time. Although the main discussion will be general, smaller penetration sessions will not be broadcast.

The goal is to create a clear and practical regulatory framework.

This initiative represents a major shift in the position of the Supreme Council for Education under the leadership of the President, Mark Oida, who launched the encryption squad in January as part of President Donald Trump’s push to ease the organizational pressure on the encryption industry.

The task of the work group is to create clear organizational guidelines, create practical registration paths, and ensure balanced enforcement. It consists of 14 members, including SEC employees and experts for a long time from the encryption industry.

Michael Celig is the chief adviser to the team. Before joining SEC, he was a partner in Willkie Farr & Gallagher, where he advised Crypto, NFT and Stablecoin.

Landon Zinda was appointed as a senior consultant and previously worked as Coin Center Policy Director, a group that supports the invitation to encryption. Sumira Younis, who held the position of Commissioner Policy Politics, is the head of operations.

Richard Gabbart is now the chief of staff who worked as a PEIRCE consultant in the past. Taylor Ashir is the main adviser to politics and formerly advised the President of SEC Mark Oida.

The Securities and Stock Exchange will share more details, including the agenda and speakers, on the Crypto Action Force website in the coming days. The public can also order meetings with the business band.
