Cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), showed significant volatility, leading to widespread liquidations in the futures market.
According to data from cryptocurrency market data analysis firm CoinGlass, a total of $337.46 million was liquidated in the futures market over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations (buying) amounted to $222.50 million, while short liquidations (selling) amounted to $114.96 million.
On this day, the volume of Ethereum futures liquidations exceeded the volume of Bitcoin liquidations. The value of the monetization of Bitcoin futures contracts reached $50.63 million, while Ethereum recorded $58.66 million.
BTC price is trading at $97,355, down 0.14% from the previous day, based on the Binance USDT market at 10:09 AM.
