La Rosa adds Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment options for network agents
on monday, La Rosa Holding Company (NASDAQ: LRHC) announced that it will offer Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC/USD) and Other cryptocurrencies As a payment option for its agent network.
This initiative allows agents to receive certain payments in digital assets, representing a progressive step towards integrating blockchain technology into real estate transactions.
The plan addresses the growing demand for alternative payment methods among agents and customers.

CTO Alex Santos noted that cryptocurrency payments are a natural evolution in the company’s commitment to innovation and middleman empowerment. S
Antos noted how blockchain technology offers the potential to streamline transactions while providing unparalleled flexibility in how agents and clients participate in the real estate market.
CEO Joe La Rosa expects that the move will enable agents to receive their commissions in cryptocurrency. Rosa noted that cryptocurrency payments provide faster and more secure transactions with lower fees while offering the potential for income growth through increasing the value of digital assets.
Additionally, this initiative could create a new revenue stream for La Rosa, as the company charges a 2% fee to agents who receive cryptocurrency payments.
Price action: LRHC stock closed 18.7% higher at $0.8072 on Friday.
