Kent police betray the fraud warning after £ 1m in cripto fraud is lost

Police issued a warning after nine people in Key lost a combined one million pounds in cryptocurrency.
Personal data on victims were shared online after data leaks and their information was used to generate “false fraudsters,” police said.
The shareholder is a national report in the UK for fraud and cyber crime.
Det Sgt Darrill Paulson said, “Don’t embarrass yourself about reporting fraud, it only takes a moment to be an impacted and victim of falls.”
Someone claims that the police officer contacted individuals and convinced them that the investigation was launched, the police said.
The fake officer told the victims to “expect a call from crypto wallet”.
Then they received another call from the person who said that “security officer” and they requested their seed phrase -12 or 24 words that allow users to manage cryptocurrency wallets.
The coverage then used this information to steal the means and transmit money, the police said.
Det Sgt Paulson called for someone to contact someone who claims to be from the “CRIPTO Host”, or from the police, not to give up personal information.
“The intersectors become increasingly counting in their actions to deceive their victims … and will often create urgency in a situation, such as their speech that they must stop funds to stolen funds,” he said they were stolen funds.
