Jaihoz Token launch on Ronin and Base

Virtuals Protocol, a platform that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) with decentralized systems, has reportedly simplified the process of creating and deploying AI agents. These agents are designed to work either on-chain or within digital environments, performing functions as social media influencers, on-chain traders, or in-game non-playable characters (NPCs).

Jaihoz: Leading AI agent

This collaboration has given rise to Jaihoz, an AI agent inspired by Jeffrey Zuerlin, co-founder of Sky Mavis, creators of Axie Infinity. The Virtuals Jaihoz protocol is designed to emulate aspects of Zirlin’s online personality while incorporating additional independence and distinct personality traits. Jaihoz is set to interact with users on the Ronin platform and is also active on social media. However, questions remain about the tangible benefits and impact of these interactions. AI agents like Jaihoz have been growing rapidly in popularity in recent weeks.

The role of the $JAIHOZ token

At the heart of this initiative lies the $JAIHOZ token, a digital asset distributed on the Ronin and Base blockchains. The maximum total token supply is 1 billion, making it a vital component of the partnership. To generate interest, more than 100,000 wallets linked to the Ronin and Virtuals communities received airdrop tokens. Eligibility for this airdrop was based on specific dates, with recipients including holders of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) such as Cyberkongz Genkai and Moki Genesis, as well as Ronin stockholders and guild participants. While the airdrop aims to integrate these communities into the AI agent ecosystem, the broader effectiveness of this distribution strategy remains uncertain.

Expanding Ronin’s use cases

This partnership aligns with Ronin’s broader goal of diversifying its blockchain applications by early 2025. The network, which was initially created to support Axie Infinity, aims to attract innovative blockchain projects outside of gaming. Virtuals Protocol’s focus on AI agents forms a key part of this vision. While expectations for cryptocurrency-based AI agents are high, the ultimate success of this collaboration in meeting these aspirations has yet to be determined.
