Iran says it has destroyed 13,000 encryptions

About 13,000 encryptions were destroyed in Iran to prevent excessive consumption of electricity.

The Iranian authorities say that about 13,000 encryptions have been destroyed in the country as part of the census on the use of electricity supported by illegal purposes.

The CEO of the electric state company, Tavanir, said on Saturday that Cryptoming was a major electricity consumption in Iran in the past months.

Mustava Rajabi said that more than 15,000 encryption and confiscation machines have been discovered in Iran in the past ten months.

Rajabi said that the machines were destroyed on orders issued by the Iranian judicial authorities.

However, the official rejected the reports that some foreign embassies in Iran use cheap electricity to extract cryptocurrencies, saying that the Ministry of Energy had not received any report on this issue.

A a report By the semi -official news agency that was published last month, it said last month that the Dutch embassy in Tehran had been marked with excessive use of electricity.

The report raised social media discussions that the Dutch embassy employees may use cheap electricity for the encryption.

The disruption of illegal encryption comes in Iran, as the country is struggling with the high demand for electricity that has extended power plants to the border, forcing the authorities to bring in discounts in power scheduled in large cities.

Tavanir estimates that Cryptoming is responsible for nearly 800 megawatts of electricity demand in Iran.

The company’s CEO said on Saturday that the consumption of each electricity encryption machine is the equivalent of using 10 families.

Muhammadullah said that the government will continue to provide cash rewards on any information that leads to the discovery of illegal encryption machines in Iran.
