Another notable patent is Sichuan Huayingshan Guangneng Group’s large tilt angle device with fully mechanical hydraulic support and anti-tilt and anti-slip device. This is designed to enhance stability and safety in steep mining operations by preventing tilting and slippage of hydraulic support systems.
Other leading patent applicants in this area include Komatsu, Caterpillar and Sandvik. Global data analysis It reveals that there are more than 260 companies, including technology vendors, established mining companies, and emerging start-ups engaged in developing and applying tunnel boring and anchoring machine innovations.
“Despite the many benefits, challenges such as ensuring long-term durability, managing maintenance costs, and handling the complexity of system integration with legacy machines remain significant,” Togeta concluded.
“However, the drive towards innovation and the industry’s focus on automation indicates strong momentum that will shape the future of mining operations.”
