Google Mallet wallet adds the Blockchain -based technology feature

Google introduces a privacy update to apply its wallet by integrating zero knowledge evidence (ZKPS), allowing users to verify identity features such as age without revealing personal details.

The first feature is launched in the UK, with a wider international availability soon.

The ZK system – which has been developed in partnership with Ligero, an emerging privacy company with the support of the main investors for encryption – allows the capacity of services without prejudice to their identity. Although it is not strictly connected to the encryption, the database will be open from the sources, which may allow the governor and other services to adopt technology.

Evidence of zero knowledge, which was once academic curiosity, has become necessary in encryption. Blockchains such as Ethereum ZK-Rollups (for example, starknet, zKsync) is used to expand transactions, while privacy protocols such as ZK-SNARKS and ZK-Starks SHIELD DATE. The newer variables of storage and decentralization are also explored.

Google will extend beyond web applications. Digital identifiers in the portfolio may soon support passports checks for local travel, recover account on Amazon, access to the medical service via CVS and mychart from EPIC, and even check the profile on platforms like Uber.

This step puts Google at the forefront of the prevailing zero knowledge, mixing digital comfort with the privacy of encryption.
