Fraud alert: The Antichrist pretends to be DFPI in the investment plan for encryption

The California Financial Protection and Innovation Ministry has received reports of fraudsters who claim to be from “CDFI”, using deceptive email addresses such as [email protected] and [email protected].

This fraud does not belong to DFPI. Consumers must be very careful when responding to unwanted offers that involve financial or investment services – especially if the sender requests payments or sensitive personal information.
