Crypto.com allows Paypal payments to buy Crypto in the European Union – TradingView News

Crypto.com has announced that European Union users can now finance encryption purchases directly through PayPal. According to the company, integration aims to simplify the process of millions of European customers looking to enter or expand the encryption space, and fill the gap between traditional financing and digital assets.

Make encryption closer to ordinary users

The new feature of Crypto.com users in the European Union allows the purchase of encrypted currencies through their PayPal accounts. By doing this, the company aims to reduce contact with users who may hesitate to connect a bank account or use a direct credit card for encryption transactions.

Paypal has expanded its participation in digital assets over the past few years, as it has made purchase of encryption, sale and transfers in selected markets.

PayPal enhances encryption offers

Recently, Paypal has expanded the world level encryption. Last year, the online payment platform announced its support for the encrypted currency of American business account holders. The offer allows merchants to buy, keep encrypted currencies and sell them directly through their PayPal commercial accounts.

In 2023, Paypal went a step forward to launch Stablecoin, Paypal USD (Pyusd), with the support of US dollar reserves. According to the company, this digital asset is used as a PayPal financing tool, including international transfers on Xoom, a PayPal platform.

Meanwhile, Crypto.com recently benefited from the most lenient regulations by the American administration, announcing that the Securities and Stock Exchange Committee (SEC) has officially closed its investigation into the exchange of encryption and decided not to raise any enforcement procedure.

“Under the previous administration, the SEC weapon has tried to expand its authority granted from Congress in order to harm the industry by its former president.”
