Bolivia turns to the CRIPT for energy imports Contemporary dollar, Fuel deficiency

La Paz (Reuters) – State energy Bolivia IPFB will use cryptocurstility to pay for energy imports due to painfully lack of dollars and fuel in a closed ministeric nation, the company spokesman and the government official said.

The country is struggling with a hazardous reserve slider of the elderly, which is outside the natural gas export, which caused the fuel crisis in the country with regular long lines at gasoline stations and scattered protests.

The IPFB State Energy Company Spokesman said that the system was established to use the cryptocurrency to buy fuel imports after the government’s approval to help meet demand.

“From now on, these (cryptocurrencial) transactions will be implemented, adding that a new purchase system is designed to help support the national fuel subsidies in Bolivia followed a lack of hard currency.

The government spokesman said IPFB has not yet used the digital currency for the purchase of energy imports, but that it was planned.

Bolivia has reached its large gas reserves of energy for decades, has become relied on import because domestic gas production has disappeared in the middle of a lack of large new findings.
