Bestchang exchange platform in the dark over the Block Russia

February 11 (Reuters) said Bestchang said the Cryptocurrency Exchang platform that it is not sure why its website was banned by Russian communications monitoring Roskomnadzor, but it is in contact with the central bank trying to lift the ban.

Digital currencies circulating and advertising are prohibited in Russia, although the use of cryptocurrencies for international payments is now legal, as well as the coded currency mining. The platform said late on Monday in response to the comment request: “Bestchange.ru was restricted in Russia by Roskomnadzor,” said the platform late Monday in response to the comment request. “We are communicating with the central bank to determine the cause and interact with the regulator to clarify the situation and raise the mass.”

Roskomnadzor is listed on Bestchand.ru as it has been banned. The Ria Roskomnadzor News Agency was saying that the ban was due to legal violations “in the financial field.”

Roskomnadzor did not respond immediately to request a comment.

Bestchang said that the new regulations about Crypto can be behind the ban, or a problem with an entity that uses its service.

Last year, Russia has clarified the cryptocurrency mining and provided taxes that could bring up to 200 billion rubles (two billion dollars) annually from miners. Moscow has since restricted encryption mining in some Siberian areas to prevent energy shortages.

As part of this legislation, Russia allowed companies to use cryptocurrencies in international trade as Moscow is looking to circumvent Western sanctions that cause payment delay, although the trial period has not yet ended.
