An arson investigation is underway near the Crypto.com Arena after a group of bikers ignited fireworks inside a trash can.

Los Angeles (KABC) — An arson investigation is underway in Los Angeles after a group of bikers set fire to a trash can Saturday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The incident occurred near Crypto.com Arena and the Los Angeles Convention Center in the 1200 block of South Figueroa Street at approximately 5 p.m.
Los Angeles police said a group of 30 to 40 bikers were asked to evacuate the area, but then lit fireworks inside a trash can, causing a large fire.
Figueroa Street was closed between Pico Street and 12th Street while authorities investigated the incident.
No one was detained. No further details were immediately available.
