Chisholm’s industry and mining are featured in the My Town episode

Chisholm is proud to be featured in the hit live series “My Town,” which explores the unique stories and people that define small towns across the country.

In this episode, viewers will get an inside look at the community’s rich history, thriving local businesses,
And the people who make Chisholm a special place call it home.

“The My Town series breaks down common misconceptions about the rural lifestyle, inspiring important conversations,” said three-time Emmy Award-winning director and writer Corey Hypola.

In the first season of My Town, Hepola, who grew up in a small town in Minnesota, travels to seven different rural communities in four states to find out why people choose to live where they do, and discovers the opportunities, innovation, and connectedness that are found in the regions. Rural America.

“I’ve always loved my hometown, but when I was a teenager, I was in a rush to leave. As an adult in my 40s with a wife and three young children, I have a different perspective, and I started to realize that I missed it,” Hepola said. “The value of choosing rural life, which is something I didn’t understand when I was a kid.”

“My Town” recently had its world premiere with two screenings at Twin Cities Film Fest highlighting all seven episodes from the first season. “My Town” is the latest rural initiative from The Brookshire Company, a Minnesota-based commercial real estate firm.
